Nectar of Caitanya-caritamrita Part1

One day while in a rapturous trance, Lord Gauranga unknowingly trod on a sleeping tigeIr, who stirred and awakened. "Now we are finished!" Balabhadra, Lord Chaitanya's companion thought. But Gauranga ordered the tiger, "Get up! Why are you sleeping? Chant Hare Krsna!" The tiger rose and started chanting Hare Krsna, suffused with transcendental joy. Another time, while Lord Chaitanya was bathing in a river a herd of mad elephants arrived. The Lord splashed them with water and asked them to chant Hare Krsna. When the water touched their bodies the elephants began chanting "Krsna Krsna!" Some of them danced, some fell to the ground, and others screamed in ecstasy.
                     
Often Mahaorabhu's sweet singing would attract deer to come and follow Him. One day some tigers joined the party, and when Chaitanya ordered them to chant Hare Krsna, the tigers and deer danced and chanted "Krsna!" embracing and kissing one another while Balabhadra looked on. All the animals, birds, and even trees and creepers that He met along the jungle path were awakened to jubilant love of Krsna.


I worship Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu,
whose, nectarean mercy flows like a great
river, inundating the entire universe.

So here's poem that I composed and a drawing that I did of the Supreme Lord Krishna :D On a full moon night, the moon shone very bright. It was cold and calm, but the blue moonlight kept the night warm. The night was silent, silent than ever, yet the air was filled with melody which was heard never. It was so magical and pleasing, it seemed to attract even the non-living. I was mesmerized, I was astound, for a while as if I was spellbound. Then everything appeared to be changed, as if for a divine meeting it was arranged. The silent night now was vibrant than ever, and the sweet melody now accompanied gurgle of river. The land was beautifully decorated with sweet smelling flowers, it seemed as if all the blessings of nature here showers. H.H Jaya Pataka Swami Maharaj

Yesterday (07.12.12, friday) was the most auspicious day of my life! I was lucky enough to have darshan of HH Jaya Pataka Swami Maharaj. It was just like a dream come true for a fallen soul like me. I never met Him before ever. Since I heard He's arriving here (UAE, Middle east) I was desperately looking forward to meet Him. Ofcourse, in the crowd of many hundread and thousand devotees, it was hard to get darshan of His Holiness. But i was luck!! Before His arrival I wrote a poem to glorify Him, hoping to give it to Him when we meet. So I just went to the stage and gave that poem to Maharaj's personal assistant plus had His darshan!!
