Tribute to HIS DIVINE GRACE

This year completes Srila Prabhupada's 35th death anniversary. He's just an angle who came to reclaim fallen souls like us.  He's our ever well-wisher. Being grateful I scribbled out some line honouring and expressing gratitude for this causless mercy and compassion. Jaya Prabhupada! His Divine Grace



In this dark world of ignorence,
where there is only vice and grievance;
You descended to give us,
the priceless treasure of Krsna Consciousness.
Being conditioned, we always lived in illusion,
You resuscitated us with deep compassion.
Your soft heart melted, when you beheld us in pain,
thinking how foolishly we'r letting this rare human life go in vain.
You left your mother and Your nation,
just for the sake of giving us liberation.
We were always the servant of our senses.
But being merciful, You revealed us this life's very essence.
You taught us: Chant Hare Krsna and be happy,
Live for Krsna and dance with glee.
To lessen our sorrow,
You brought us the sweetest mellow.
To cease our material disease,
You shown us the path to ever-increasing bliss.
 
But alas! Influenced by illusion, our souls are misled each day,
Please save us! save us! The wretched souls pray.

So here's poem that I composed and a drawing that I did of the Supreme Lord Krishna :D On a full moon night, the moon shone very bright. It was cold and calm, but the blue moonlight kept the night warm. The night was silent, silent than ever, yet the air was filled with melody which was heard never. It was so magical and pleasing, it seemed to attract even the non-living. I was mesmerized, I was astound, for a while as if I was spellbound. Then everything appeared to be changed, as if for a divine meeting it was arranged. The silent night now was vibrant than ever, and the sweet melody now accompanied gurgle of river. H.H Jaya Pataka Swami Maharaj

Yesterday (07.12.12, friday) was the most auspicious day of my life! I was lucky enough to have darshan of HH Jaya Pataka Swami Maharaj. It was just like a dream come true for a fallen soul like me. I never met Him before ever. Since I heard He's arriving here (UAE, Middle east) I was desperately looking forward to meet Him. Ofcourse, in the crowd of many hundread and thousand devotees, it was hard to get darshan of His Holiness. But i was luck!! Before His arrival I wrote a poem to glorify Him, hoping to give it to Him when we meet. So I just went to the stage and gave that poem to Maharaj's personal assistant plus had His darshan!! One day while in a rapturous trance, Lord Gauranga unknowingly trod on a sleeping tigeIr, who stirred and awakened. "Now we are finished!" Balabhadra, Lord Chaitanya's companion thought. But Gauranga ordered the tiger, "Get up! Why are you sleeping? Chant Hare Krsna!" The tiger rose and started chanting Hare Krsna, suffused with transcendental joy. Another time, while Lord Chaitanya was bathing in a river a herd of mad elephants arrived. The Lord splashed them with water and asked them to chant Hare Krsna. When the water touched their bodies the elephants began chanting "Krsna Krsna!"
